This is a great product. It's flexible, so it can fit in any small to medium-sized pot. It cleans up beautifully in dishwasher. It is much easier to store than a metal steamer. In fact, my mother had the great idea of storing it as a spacer between my non-stick frying pans, so the top one doesn't scratch the one underneath. Have you ever had a kitchen gadget that multi-tasks as it's being STORED? My one complaint was well-articulated by another reviewer: it needs one more handle. It makes a great little gift too.

Very handy little gadget to have around the kitchen. I use mine every day to cook vegetables of all kinds. Unlike metal steamers, it's easy to clean, won't scratch coated pans, fits in almost any size pan, can be used in a microwave, and---a real plus!---I don't roast my fingers grabbing a boiling hot center post or metal rings to lift it out of the pan after cooking. Also, since there are no metal wings to bend or break loose, I think that this steamer will last a very long time.

The brush fits solidly in the hand, making cleaning of vegetable such as potatoes and carrots a breeze.

My only complaint is that while I understand the finger slot needs to accommodate a variety of finger sizes, I would like it to be a bit less flexible. It tends to slip a bit when I kick it into high speed to clean enough potatoes for a picnic potato salad. However, it works really well for casually cleaning veges.

My son bought this and I laughed at him. He left it home and I started to use it -- a lot. When he wanted it back I bought two- one for home and one for the cottage. Works great with little effort and it measures at the same time and it goes in the dishwasher. What more can you ask for.

I purchased this pepper grinder in May 2007 and used it on a pretty regular basis until the squeeze handle broke in September 2008.

I was pretty irritated and contacted amazon.com for a replacement. They were unable to replace the item, but gave me the manufacturer's contact info.

I emailed Chef'n that night and got a very quick response. They were very apologetic and sent a replacement within 10 days.

The product itself isn't the best I've ever used but I liked that it was a one-handed pepper grinder. I use kosher salt and it doesn't flow easily from the top, but it's not that big of an issue. The customer service of Chef'n, however, was so efficient and great that I would repurchase products from them in the future.

It was a great grinder as long as it lasted. I used a couple of weeks and the stationary handle snapped off. It still works if I hold the ball and move the brind handle, but I'll be looking for a new grinder.
