I have used my Juiceman Jr. for more than 15 years and it has performed admirably. I have juiced gallons of tomatoes, pears, watermelons, lemons, beets, you name it and I have probably juiced it. I replaced the feet with larger pads that help mitigate the vibration and now I am looking for a new basket blade section. After so many years of use I think a new blade basket assembly would be nice. For the money it has paid for itself year after year. My wife and I juice every morning and I use the machine to remove the seeds and pulp from harvested tomatoes and any other fruits or vegetables coming out of our gardens. It is easier to clean than many other machines. I have no complaints about this machine.

I received my Juiceman Jr "chrome" as a gift and have been enjoying it for about a week now, and so far I'm very pleased with it. I used to have a juicer but it was so incredibly loud that I only used it a few times. This one is very powerful but just about as loud as a blender. The juices I've made so far have been really delicious, and now when I'm hungry I find myself making a nice glass of fresh juice whereas before my first inclination was to go for less healthful foods, so I think it will have a lasting positive effect on my overall diet.

There are a couple of negatives I'd like to mention. First, the machine is not made of chrome metal, as the description would lead one to believe. The exterior is all plastic, some parts are just "chrome" colored. If I had ordered this myself, that would have p-ssed me off. Also, the rigidness of the removable / washable parts concerns me that they may crack as they age. I think a more rubbery (like Tuppereware) consistency would last longer. Another reviewer stated it only took them 30 seconds to clean their machine, but it takes me about 5 minutes to do it right. Although plastic, I do like the locking handle design- it feels safe to use.

Juices just fine but you'll need the energy of the juice plus a valium to keep from blowing your lid when you try to take it apart to clean it. Seriously, it should not require the use of a screwdriver to pry the thing apart. It seems that the blade gets wedged into the base and at times no amount of prying will get it to pop loose. You'll get one side to pop up a bit and then when you work on the other side it all just sinks back into it's stuck position. If you are wanting to juice to lower your blood pressure then don't buy this juicer.

I loved the model 410 at first. It was great to juice things. BUT, it is very noisey, you need earplugs. The basket is hard to get off, and we found that putting a touch of vaseline on the contact parts underneath worked ok so it was easier to get off. We use 2 butter knives as levers, one on each side to wiggle and pry the basket off. It could be better. Also the balance of the basket or something is not very good. It does vibrate around and "dance" when in use. But worst of all after using it about 20 times over 2 years, it just up and died. I took it apart and the motor was fine. It seems the circuit board inside the thing has some integrated circuit chips and a relay, and one of them died. There should be a circuit breaker or a fuse on this thing to prevent a burnout of the whole thing like this. It looks perfect inside and out, but is headed for the trash heap. As far as the juice goes, it worked good when it worked, with Apples and strawberries and grapes and such. If you don't peel the oranges and grapefruits though they taste strong and not good. The feed chute is too small and spits out pulp and stuff has to be fed slowly or you will burn it out like mine. I am going to attempt a circuit board level diagnosis and repair and see why it stopped. I am guessing from an initial survey that the motor relay is what needs to be replaced. It is a small cheap unit for this amout of motor horsepower. I will repost when I get the repair finished.
