Panasonic SD-YD250 Automatic Bread Maker kitchen appliance reviews

kitchen appliance reviews Panasonic SD-YD250 Automatic Bread Maker
I purchased the Panasonic bread machine based on the good reviews that I read here. I have owned 2 Breadman machines in the past and was happy with them until they wore out. I expected this machine to produce the same quality bread and was very disappointed. The loaves from my favorite recipes came out small and hard and did not taste the same. The crust was very tough. The recipes in the book were MUCH too salty and we tried several loaves before giving up and sending it back. I've noticed from the other reviews that the people who had owned bread machines from the past (when they actually made machines that were good quality and made good bread) are all disappointed with the new machines. I agree. Why did so many companies make changes to good products and turn them into bad ones?

Panasonic SR-G06FG 3.3-Cup Rice Cooker/Steamer kitchen appliance reviews

kitchen appliance reviews Panasonic SR-G06FG 3.3-Cup Rice Cooker/Steamer
Come on now! For the price of this thing, the value is great! I've been using it for about a month or so now. As a single dad, it's been a godsend. Rice fills out a meal and some nights it's the only thing my kids will actually eat. I fried up some chicken in a pan from a boneless, skinless breast, used some seasoned salt and let the rice cooker do its thing. Lo and behold, about 20 minutes later I had some savory chicken and the rice was done. Add some frozen stir-fry vegetables cooked in about 5 minutes and it's a meal!!!

One of these days I will splurge and buy a nicer, fancier model with warming, a steaming basket and stuff like that. But, for the money, this does what it says it will do. I've cooked white rice and brown rice. I use the little plastic cup that came with the cooker and do a 1:1 ratio for white rice and 1:1.5 ratio for brown. I've had a little bit of scorching on the bottom of the rice sometimes, but nothing bad. The brown rice *does* seem to bubble a little more and adds to the clean up time, but that's all.

For a guy like me, the rice cooker is a great thing. Hit that button and the rice cooks. It pops up when it's done. That's it! I never used to cook rice because it was such a mystery to me. No more! If you're looking for a simple small appliance, this is it. It just works and does what it says it will.

Panasonic MC-4620 Bagless Straight-Suction Canister Vacuum kitchen appliance reviews

kitchen appliance reviews Panasonic MC-4620 Bagless Straight-Suction Canister Vacuum
This vacuum is exactly what i wanted and has fullfilled all my expectations. it arrived here quite promptly as well.... i was surprised to see it sitting on my landing after only a couple of days past from ordering it. i'm pretty sure it was packed with recyclable cartboard pieces instead of styrofoam, which i take notice of....i think.... i'm pretty sure it was the vacuum.......any how. other than that the only drawback i can think of is that it gives off a strong odor. i'm only hoping the gasses aren't toxic.

Panasonic MC-UL675 AeroSpin Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner with Dirt Sensor, Sherbert Blue kitchen appliance reviews

kitchen appliance reviews Panasonic MC-UL675 AeroSpin Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner with Dirt Sensor, Sherbert Blue
I have this vacuum cleaner for more than 6 months, it has very good suction, cleans very well, but very heavy. I agree with other reviewers, if you have to clean multiple floors, you might consider a lighter vacuum cleaner.

Panasonic MC-CG467 Multi-Surface Lightweight Canister Vacuum Cleaner, Light Blue kitchen appliance reviews

kitchen appliance reviews Panasonic MC-CG467 Multi-Surface Lightweight Canister Vacuum Cleaner, Light Blue
I did a lot of research on different canisters when I was switching over from my not so old Hoover upright. Once I saw the specs on this & it's price tag (got it for about $130 shipped), I had my heart set. Well, it was a hard one to pin down! I ordered 5 times from different co's before I finally found a company that actually had it- right here on Amazon from Beach Audio Inc (thank goodness they actually had it because my house was gettin' dirty!)
So now I've had it for about 3 wks & love it. OK, there is some bad with the good, but for the price- I'm not complaining & that's some trick. I have a 4 yr old, 2 black cats & a red 40lb dog (oh, and a husband in construction). I also have cream and/or white low pile carpets & hardwood floors in the main areas of the 2200SF house. The dog is restricted to hard wood, but the cats have free roam (of course).
With that said, this vacuum has enough suction power for me. It's 11 amps compares well with my 12 amp Hoover upright, though I do have to remove the air driven turbo nozzle to get the heavy stuff w/ the wand. Not too bad because it's just a pop & click out & then back in as I go around the house. The crevice & dust tools are conveniently on board so that's a plus, though the wand itself does the trick for me mostly. Overall, I would say that even though the turbo nozzle doesn't 'suck' (ie the brush is only powered by the air suction)it was worth the trade off to have it so light because my old hoover broke my back & this does not at all. I love that the wand is an easy telescopic click as well.
I love that it's bagged. My hoover was not & I was getting sick of the mess having to dump it out & get all that dirt & dog grime back in the air & still have it blow 'dog smell' about my house while I was cleaning. Now the crud is cleanly tucked away in a bag I can toss & replace (I found it easy to buy a box of replacement bags off of panasonic's website).
I love that the canister has 2 handles. I lay it down on the floor & stand it up while I go up the stairs. Easy grab either way. It's light weight for my bad neck arthritis overall.
OH, and to my surprise- it is equipped with a parking mechanism that wasn't mentioned in the sales pitch. One of my favorite features! Makes it even compare closer to the Miele I was wanting and couldn't drop $600 on.
I even like the handle grip as I do not prefer the 'ergonomic' type for whatever reason. They seem awkward to me. This is simple design & feels comfy on my wrist without the extra plastic.
So, my only real complaint would be a shorter cord than I had- but if it were longer... the vacuum would be heavier. Give & take. I can manage 1 room at a time & then just move the plug. I do love that you push a button & the cord sucks back up-- no winding mess. :)
Overall a very happy camper. I even love the color...

Panasonic NN-H765BF Full-Size 1-3/5-Cubic-Foot 1250-Watt Microwave Oven, Black kitchen appliance reviews

kitchen appliance reviews Panasonic NN-H765BF Full-Size 1-3/5-Cubic-Foot 1250-Watt Microwave Oven, Black
We purchased as a new microwave on a Sunday and it was not shipped until
a week later. It was another five days before we received product.
When we received it, and the box was beat up and damaged (old).

We open the first box, and noticed the next box holding the glass plate was ripped apart. We removed the microwave from the box, checked it and
started using it. Then the door handle broke and is not working properly. You have to push it two or three time to open the door.

I did not purchase a display microwave, if this was suppose to be a
new microwave, something is wrong here.

I do not recommend buying appliances on the internet, too risky.

Panasonic AMC94KYZ0 Replacement Bag for Canister Vacuum Cleaner MC-CG973 kitchen appliance reviews

kitchen appliance reviews Panasonic AMC94KYZ0 Replacement Bag for Canister Vacuum Cleaner MC-CG973
They work very well.
I went with a product made by the manufacturer because I didn't want any problems. And there were none.
It's important to note there are FIVE bags per package. Thats not obvious when you first look at this page. And for a little over a dollar a bag they are a good value. Since they are made by the people who made the vacuum they fit easily, and don't leak at all.

Panasonic SR-G10G 5.5 Cup Rice Cooker/Steamer kitchen appliance reviews

kitchen appliance reviews Panasonic SR-G10G 5.5 Cup Rice Cooker/Steamer
Rest assured that the low price of this rice cooker does not mean that you'll get low quality rice. Just the opposite actually. My first rice cooker was a fancy (expensive) fuzzy logic version, and I returned it because it made awful rice. This rice cooker makes perfect rice of every variety. With brown and whole grain (or any rice that requires cooking longer than 20 minutes per bag instructions), you need to add a bit more water - approx. 1/8-1/4 cup depending on type of rice.

Panasonic NN-SD667S 1-1/5-Cubic-Foot 1300-Watt Microwave Oven, Stainless Steel kitchen appliance reviews

kitchen appliance reviews Panasonic NN-SD667S 1-1/5-Cubic-Foot 1300-Watt Microwave Oven, Stainless Steel
I loved my microwave, until it went out on me. I am anal when it comes to keeping my microwave clean, so mine is spotless, in fact, it still looks brand new. I had mine for 3 years when the inverters went out. When I contacted a Panasonic repair company, I was informed it would cost $90 to even look at. Then, I was told by another repairman that to replace the inverters it would cost more than I had paid for it new! My first microwave lasted from '78 til 2003. It is BS that after a mere 3 years I have to buy a new microwave. I will not buy another panasonic or even one with inverters in it. Not everyone has the luxury of buying new appliances every couple of years, nor should we have to. I expect my well-taken care of appliances to last for a lot longer. I do not recommend a panasonic microwave, especially one with inverters to anyone that doesn't want to replace it within a few years.
