We use it for frying a great deal of frozen things, like french fries, tater tots, etc. We have used it for onion rings and okra and it did just fine. I have not tried anything like chicken with it. I love the basket, the design, and the lid.

I like the description, "High-tech teatime. I have a home office and when I boil water on the stove and the phone rings, I sometimes forget to turn it off. Before something terrible happened I decided to buy an automatic teapot. I bought the Breville stainless steel for a friend who can taste plastic when boiling water. The Breville is one of the best teapots. For me the Russell Hobbs teapot tray with infuser and pitcher was the best value solution. I use a lot of loose tea and the infuser is great. The teapot works great and the heater on the tray works very well too. I bought this from Macy's on sale for $34.

What else can I say, the water gets hot and turns off automatically. I don't think the heater tray turns off automatically.

After an initial breaking-in batch, this waffler is the BEST I've ever used. It makes four big waffles at a time, so there's little waiting. It has a "ready" signal that is easy to see and hear. There was no sticking at all. The "crisp" feature delivered a waffle that was still moist and tender inside. Each waffle was evenly browned each and every time!

I have also owned a Russell Hobbs toaster and have kicked myself for replacing it with a Quisinart when it finally quit. Who knew I could buy it online..........from Amazon!

I LOVE this kettle! It's easy to use, holds a huge amount of water and looks great. It's also supposed be good for other liquids like milk or soup, but I wouldn't recommend it for that because it's not that easy to clean. I've used it several times a day (tea addict) for many months and have had no problems at all. I've owned a few different kettles in the past and this is definitely the best.

This kettle is no longer carried by Solutions catalog (a division of Norm Thompson)as the failure rate was unacceptable. Poor workmanship & assembly control are very evident by a cursory examination. The concept is great, the executation is very poor.
